Quick start guide to digital signage using the web player
Any device that can display a web page can be used as a digital signage display with the AbleSign web player.
Introduction
The AbleSign web player allows you to use your device’s web browser to power your digital signage. With no hardware or cabling required, this is also a great solution for those looking for a quick and easy way to explore AbleSign features and performance.
Get Started
A modern browser such as Chrome or Edge works best but most device browsers are supported.
Simply enter the URL https://player.ablesign.tv in your browser.
After a short while the web player will display a pairing code.
Login to AbleSign
Now, we can add the player to our AbleSign account. If you don’t have an account yet, create one for free.
Login to app.ablesign.tv and click Add Screen.
Enter the pairing code that is being displayed in your browser.
Click Next, and then enter a name for the screen.
Display your content
Your web player is now ready to play your content. Let’s display a video on the screen using the demo content provided.
Drag the waterfall video from the right side to your playlist on the left.
Click on SAVE CHANGES. Your web player now downloads the playlist and media files, and then starts playing it.
